I am still building this kit and it is great! Everybody has got to have a RX-78-2 in their collection. I decided to buy the 2.0 because the 3.0 was more of a Real Grade, just scaled up to 1/100. The build is very simple and I just love looking at the kit. I have been having so much fun building this kit. there are a lot of details that make this very great. It has a inner frame, pistons, and a some details. I recommend getting this kit if you like your model kits more anime accurate. It has these really big hands that are fully articulated which make it not proportional to the kit but when you pose the kit, its not really a fuss. The shipping one day late but I didn't really care because some problems have been going on around the world. The box was packaged really well. It had not dents or damage to the runners inside and the box which I was grateful about. This kit is also fun to build because it is different from other gundam and its building something new well unless you already built the GM 2.0. They have the same inner frame but they look different from the outside. Really recommend.

THIS KIT IS A MUST HAVE. I was beyond blown away with everything included in this kit that is forgotten about in the 3.0 like the gundam hammer gundam javelin and the rarer gundam ****** weapons. it has some minor color spots that aren't spot on but a fantastic MG and must have.

Everything in the box came, and in perfect condition, with no runners having disconnected parts.

This is the first Master Grade that I have ever built!!!! I've been building HG actionfigurenow for about a year and decided to bite the big one and you try Master Grade for the first time. I love the detail in the frame the build was fun!! I have now started buying Master grades because I've enjoyed the experience so much. my picture shows me using the RX 78 - 2 version 2.0 and painting it as a Prototype 1 Gundam check out the pictures and please buy the kit when you can

I love the anime-authentic coloring, the posability, and how everything fit together without having to be glued or forced. Stands and poses beautifully..this is the definitive MG RX-78-2 Gundam model. Great price and extremely fast shipping too.

Don't get me wrong, I really love the look, the build isn't too complicated, and it looks exactly like it should, but, at least on my copy, the pilot in the core fighter would fall out, the wings of the core fighter are a bit looser than I'd prefer, and the polycap that the legs peg into doesn't hold them in at all. These are fixable issues though, but I want to mention them for the sake of anyone interested, as I was the same when I saw the 30 dollar price point on it. Overall a cool figure, but some things need extra attention.
