The thermoacoustic engine is a new type of thermal machine that uses thermoacoustic self-excited oscillation. It has the outstanding advantages of simple structure and high reliability. Thermoacoustics is a kind of edge technology involving the two departments of acoustics and thermodynamics.

High-amplitude acoustic standing waves cause compression and expansion analogous to a Stirling power piston while out-of-phase acoustic traveling waves cause displacement along a temperature gradient, analogous to a Stirling displacer piston. Thus Thermoacoustic devices typically do not have a displacer.

Tips:

3. The Stirling engine model is suitable for people over 14 years old. Operate under adult supervision.
