   I recently finished their 5 cylinder radial aircraft engine and it was truly a jewel! have not yet started the Turbofan but my inspection of the kit parts shows that it is up to the same high standard! Great well illustrated instruction manual and included assembly tools are an added bonus. Strongly recommend!

   Wonderful model and value. The detail and part complexity is really impressive. Only downside was one of the (many) internal compressor fan blades was wrong sized. This was a packing error but luckily it could be shaped and ground to fit.

   I've always wanted a model like this, and this one exceeded my expectations. I always figured that, eventually, a plastic model kit of a modern turbofan engine would be produced. But when I saw this Teching kit, I was totally impressed! It is quite expensive, but with the detail, the almost all metal contruction and the number of parts, I felt it was worth the cost. I haven't started the assembly yet, but I was impressed with the fast shipping and excellent packaging. All of the parts are encased in dense foam and boxed firmly and tightly. The fact that the kit is "motorized" and has cutaways so you can see the rotating blades makes the kit even more impressive. Fantastic job! Will there be a similar follow-on kit of a GE, P&W or RR turbofan in the near future? I'll be looking forward to it...

   I was fun to assemble this engine parts are very precise and well designed. The manual is very clear. It took me like 40 hours to assembled. In resume this a very good engine to teach the basics of how a Turbafan engine works. I highly recommend this product. I had to make a few filing on the low compressor blades due to rubbing with the stator case.

   i was nervous, it’s a lot of money.
   But it looked so nice on the we site, and on some online reviews, i took the chance.
   Everything about this model, from the packaging, to the individual parts, to the detailed instruction manual were the best i have ever seen.
   It was so very fascinating to assemble and learn how the different stages interacted.
   I cannot believe the fit and finish of the components!!
   If you’re on the fence, do it - it is so pworth the cost.
   (Pay attention to the use of bolts 116 and 116b)

   It’s like a piece of art that you have to put together. I love it so much. Not done yet, have to put the rest of case bolts in. Took me about 15 - 20 hours. But who’s counting I could not stop working on it. Had to do some very minor polishing to get main drive shaft to mesh with gears to run smooth. Other than that the instructions are great. And customer service was excellent. I thought a piece was missing. They replied quickly explaining the piece was already attached to another part.

   The model impressed me right from the beginning. All components are as on a real engine. Turbine and compressor blades are like on the real engine . Blade mounting in the disk slot are like on the real engine and the lock plates gives you the impression to be working on a real engine.
   Precission of the components is impressive as well as the finess of all the parts.
   Assembling instructions are very clear and work out well. All in all a very impressive model of high quality standards.

   A enjoyable build I would recommend this model , looks great and works well the metal components and quality is impressive , the only item I would like to be different is the throttle control sound If it would of matched the rpm of the engine and not playing in a repeat loop of starting and accelerating then starting over automatically from the beginning but rather the sound staying steady with the throttle position

   I love the finished product, and I enjoyed most of my time building it. I must say that some of the angles at which the small screws and nuts must be tightened will present a challenge to those with large hands or limited range of motion in the wrist. I found that using pliers was a great help, although it slowed me down greatly in fastening the dozens of screws you'll need to attach the various subassemblies and outer housing sections of the engine. Some of the predrilled holes may be smaller than intended due to the painting/powder coating that was likely done after the pieces were cut and drilled. I had to leave more than a couple screws half-tightened because they were beginning to strip (very weak metal screws). One of them snapped the 1.5mm screwdriver provided, but fortunately I had another to use.
   I'd also like to advise buyers that certain parts in the manual appear different than how they are manufactured and provided. Had to double-take more than once for that. Some parts are also bagged together and are not labeled individually. Lastly, I do wish the audio clip for the engine spin-up were either longer or did not loop at all. It's a great idea, but it sounds pretty cheesy when it loops every 3 seconds or so while the engine spins. Maybe that's just me.
   I really wanted to give this one 5-stars, but I simply cannot due to less than expected quality in some of the material, tools, and questionable assembly instructions/design. Overall - good value for the early bird price I paid. Looks very nice.

   After waiting several months for production, the parcel arrived safely this morning. DHL Express is pretty amazing. The parcel took only a few days to arrive in Australia. Even the box it comes in is spectacular and smells of quality.
