I love this kit, it looks incredible and it's a ton of fun to put together. HOWEVER, you will want to sharpen the claws by filing or sanding them down...More
I love this kit, it looks incredible and it's a ton of fun to put together. HOWEVER, you will want to sharpen the claws by filing or sanding them down some, and also paint them yellow, to match the official art. I'm not sure why Bandai didn't just make them yellow in the first place? Also, the mace is so huge it's hard to do poses with it- the completed kit can't hold it up for very long, so you'll want to tighten up the arm joints. But outside of those two minor issues (which can both be easily fixed!) it's a fantastic kit.

Building the kit was fun in the later stages, but at first it can feel a bit tedious. My biggest complaint is the the use of polycaps in a 1/100 scale kit, especially with a mobile suit this beefy. Out of box, the build can hardly stand on its own and there is next to no ankle pivot; on top of that, theres no hope to be able to hold that mega mace out of box. A few tightened up joints and sanded down parts to allow for more range of motion though, (and a bit of gundam marker painting) and this is one of my favorite kits. I'm also heavily biased because the lupus rex is one of my favorite mobile suits.
TL;DR: sucks out of box, but its really easy to fix
