All in all, the entire set for Hina Gorou is fantastic. From the shoes to tip of the nicely crafted ears. The fabric feels amazing and you feel your gracefulness multiply simply by putting it on. That said, there are a few modifications that will be needed to be done to make it fully ready to wear beyond my house. It will end up with a dedicated bra to go with it, since the top does not stay up and in place currently, especially with the front bow in place. The top(teal) layer of the dress(the brown under is a piece in itself which is full length!) doesn't have anything to really secure it in place beyond the belt. My current plan is to do probably snaps along the top edge of the bra to keep the front in place., and maybe one on the front just to help with getting it situated and getting the belt on without fumbling yards of silky fabric. The tabi socks are a let down, and currently not something I will be using for the cosplay, but going to purchase a proper pair from somewhere else because these ones don't have any proper form to them. The sleeves are great, though I am going to let it out a little(simply due to having slightly larger upper arms than what is currently available) and adding some elastic to underside to help keep them up and in place. For convention wear, fashion tape could probably also be helpful for that. Will also be securing the puffs and the ribbons to the sleeves instead of having them pinned, but that is mostly because pins like to stab me, so the less of them, the better. The gloves are super cute, and I might not end up doing anything differently with them, but they are made for people with slightly shorter fingers than mine, so the fit is a LITTLE weird. The collar is wonderful, and even with my short neck it sits comfortably in its place, which is super unusual for broader necklaces and my dinky neck.
The quality I wanted to do like 4.75 stars, since all in all it is wonderfully crafted, with honestly just a few things needing to be adjusted, but didn't feel right about the 5 stars with the mods needing to take place.
