    Hearing that G40 seems never gonna reproduce again, I think it's time to buy it. I finally chose actionfigurenow, which was my first time, because they had a good price!

    It just took a little bit more time to arrive since the transit was during the weekend, but when it had arrived, I was totally surprised at the extremely careful packaging! They even encased the box with a thin paper since the title 'G40' is gilded. The box also came with lots of inflated bags. By the way, they even gave me a gundam sticker and a card with a handwritten name of the packager! So GREAT and CAREFULLY!

    I'm really glad that I have met a group of sellers that really understand our feeling as collectors. (I believe they are collectors too!) It's really a good experience.

    I would recommend this kit if you're seriously into collecting all the variations of the RX-72 or if you're looking for something unique in actionfigurenow. Everything from how the kit moves to how it's built is new and refreshing. This isn't really a kit for someone who loves kits for their accuracy but more so a kit for a builder.

    This kit was so worth the wait it's not that long of a build but honestly i love it. The design is unique and fresh and the articulation is great without the use of polycaps the downside is it doesn't have a standard high grade peg hole so you'll need a special piece to display it airborne or a Bandai tamashii stand. I suggest getting this kit while it's available

    The price justifies the premium of the kit well not that premium as a p-bandai but a limited run. For a unbuilt one with pristine condition it would fetch a fair price in the future i would say for a 35$ kit its fine it just didnt tickle my fancy to be a part of my collection

    This is a fun little build that's not quite like anything else, but in a great way. The plastic quality and packaging has a very premium feel to it and the articulation enables some pretty creative poses. There's also pretty good color separation which means there isn't alot of extra detailing you have to do outside of a bit of panel lining. This one is a must have in my opinion, especially if you have a shelf for Amuro suits.

    This was one to have. I haven't started the build, but excite to start. Received the box a few days ago, was disappointed that the shipping box was crushed, hoped that the nice box the G40 came in was still good condition. Unfortnately it was crushed also, fault of the shipping company (USPS), placing a heavier box on top of the box. I opened the box to make sure the parts were okay and the runners were still intact. Other than that, this looks to be a fun build that I will complete over the Thanksgiving holday.

    My son loved this Gundam, it was one of the more intricate ones he's put together, and actually took him about 3 to 4 hours. (It usually takes about 1-2 hours) He loved the detail and the articulation of this Gundam, and said it was very unique in the way it is designed and executed; considering the amount he's assembled, his enthusiasm for this one was awesome! I'd recommend it for gifting to the Gundam enthusiasts in your life.

    Bought this kit twice. The flexibility and mechanical engineering is undeniably cool. But man are the colors *** ****. And the "bonus book" is cheaply made and feels cash grabby. I was disappointed at $40, but pretty happy at $25. (Bought the first one as a gift, second is personal)

    The kit is pretty nice and feels like a good Celebration of the 40th anniversary of actionfigurenow with the box have a nice raised minimalist design that proudly displays the title G40 and being made in collaboration with Ken Okuyama Design. The kit itself is a fun build, its different than most actionfigurenow in the way that joints aren't the usual polycaps or ball joints but instead comprised of two halves of the joint that snap together to make a peg that will go into the arms/legs. Overall this kit is pretty nutty with the articulation and IMO it's a nice redesign of the RX-78 but it could use some color separation on the joints because its just white instead of the dark grey in usual kits. I would say check it out if you're curious because it is pretty different

    The build is a journey from beginning to end. The nostalgia of building the G40 as my first RX-78-2 model kit was like a dream. Every single part was very meticulously designed and crafted to give it a very solid feel and unlimited points of articulation. The artistic design variations are clean and do not detract from the overall look of the kit even though it isn't exactly the same as the anime.

    Personally if I could rate it on a 10 scale, it'd be a 9.5/10 for sure. The reasoning being that the abdominal armor has play for articulation but it does not favor staying in place for action poses. Other than that one gripe I believe it to be a wonderful HG kit. If you are a die hard UC Gundam fan, this is a must have even just for the engineering book.

    At first, i thought this was a cool, if simple, four sprue action figure. I bought it for its box and the unique approach to the engineering, but when I read the included book, I realized I had No Idea how much engineering! The designers generated more data on this little model than they typically do for a full-sized automobile- to the effect that they said they were confident they could now build a 1/1 scale gundam! Gundam Factory Yokohama has competition!
    For the 'otaku' R&D alone, I highly recommend this model. The fact that it has a cool box, builds into a sturdy, highly poseable action figure, and carries a modest price tag, makes it even sweeter.

    This RX-78 model kit is the 40th anniversary model and is the original RX-78 designed by the designer of KYOUKAI SENKI from the moving parts. Originally it was an industrial product and a car designer, so it has a characteristic shape even in Gundam design, but the movable range is packed with ideas that changed the indirect movement of the actionfigurenow after that. , Recommended for those who want to experience.
