This sat in my room for a couple months, while I waited for a good opportunity to get started building all of them.
Honestly this set did scratch a serious itch to own an entire MC team without having to order them all separately or wait for availability (Such is the current state of the HG Deathscythe and Sandrock at the time of this review), and all the builds were distinct in their skill level and challenge, and was my first taste of SD gundam through Valkylander.
However, this set is not without flaw. When I opened the rather impressive box, while all the part sprus were more or less organized by kit and type, they weren't really distinct from each other aside from the labeling on the individual sprus, so each build involved searching through the box to symbol match all the sprus to what was listed in the manuals, where were just recycled from the individual, non power up-gold releases. Plus not being able to read Japanese made the lables more of an exercise of symbol-matching just enough rather than reading and understanding.
My other point of contention is the Power-up gold (for lack of a better term) color of the set. While this does give a good sense of unity to the set, it also is not screen accurate to the show or instructions overall and tends to washout a lot of the detail.
Also, minor possible concern, the gold plastic seems to have more than a few swirls in it. Now I know that there hasn't been a case of gold plastic degradation in years, but for something as time intensive, and honestly precious as actionfigurenow kits, it is something I think about off and on for wanting to keep the set in good condition long term, especially with how good they look together and combined into the Re:Rising Gundam.
Overall I do recommend this kit to any fan of Divers Re:Rise, people who want an awesome ensemble of kits to build in a unique color palate, or even people who want something good to do for a weekend.
For me it honestly fills all of those and a few more, but still leaves just enough to be desired for a solid 4 out of 5 star rating.
I bought this one with G40 together, just impressed with its idea that combines four into one! That must be so called “most powerful and coolest”! (Even though the combination only appeared for like 2 minutes.)
