The quality of the build, the ease of assembly, and the level of detail this kit affords leaves you with an amazing representation of Char's Zaku II.
Plus the added features of the Boom Lift, and all the included Dry Transfers and Decals, allow you an ability to create a very stunning Zeon Mobile Suit; and when you display your build, recreate the moment where Zeonic was finalizing the custom build for the Red Comet himself.
This is a great kit, and one you really should add to your collection. It has so much to set it apart from the regular Zaku II Ver 2.0, and is a real compliment to how far the Zaku II Ver 2.0 has come.
There are a couple of nubs on some very conspicuous places (forearms, mainly). Very easy to leave marks on the pink pieces too, so be careful on those.
Overall a real classic in the Zaku line of MG kits that was pretty fun to put together and is great to pose.
Overall a fun and relatively easy build for a Master Grade. It's very solid! Does not feel like it will fall apart while posing, and it does not rattle.
Love that the eye moves when you rotate the head.
Articulation on this kit is also excellent (see the leg in the photo).
This kit does not disappoint.
The Char's Zaku II (Ver. 2.0) is only my 2nd MG I've built the first being the Char's Zaku II (Ver. 1.0) back in 1995. The 2.0 is a easy to build and the interframe gives the kit far better range of movement over it's predecessor.
The only draw back of the 2.0 is the hands half the time the Zaku machine gun or bazooka will pop of the peg.
If your a Char or just a MS-06s fan this is a must buy.
If it wasn't for USA Gundam Store having it when I bought the kit at a great price I would still be waiting to bought a Zaku II 2.0.
I did paint my Char's Zaku II (Ver. 2.0) in a more of the standard Zaku II color's.
The only truly harrowing part of the build was the power cables on the head, body, and legs. While the head and body cables were solid pieces, the leg cables were springs, requiring a great deal of patience to assemble and attach correctly.
The look of this kit is very nice. Has cool gimmicks, such as the cockpit and the mono-eye. Plus, this kit includes weapons, accessories, and a mini figure (Char).
Of course, the pipes can be difficult to deal with, due to how tight the pieces are. What I ended up doing was, instead of forcefully pulling the pipes one at a time, I cut the tubes between the pipes and pulled them out one at a time. This way, it's a lot easier to handle.
Once you have finished with the pipes, the kit is a lot simpler to build.
Overall, I will recommend this kit because, in the end, it paid off.
