USA Gundam is so great to deal with. I buy a kit a month from them and will even wait to get it from them due to price and they are local to me. Keep up the great work.
So that leaves me to my next two points design and engineering. I'm not fresh to gundam or models so I can appreciate a well curated experience. Simply put, it's a pleasure to build at every stage. The inner frame can be completed with little exterior armor so you can probably go wild with exploded parts views or a repair diorama to really show off that really nice full inner frame. It's posability, weapons, and overall look is incredibly detailed and articulate giving a wide range of possibility and as a bonus it is sturdy enough you really don't need a stand unless where it stays it gets bumped frequently. Not kidding, it feels like a super high grade action figure and not a flimsy piece of plastic minus a nitpick but I'll leave that at the end.
The second thing, and I wish it was complete and I had a decent camera is the color looks great in person. I was skeptical and the pictures here might shy you off a bit but trust me. The green is dark, the off white complements the heavy duty look almost nearing sand making the overall kit darker than most pictures grant it. Full up, the pleasantly muted decals and dry transfers and it doesn't scream toy. You might notice I missed the burnt Orange highlights, well that's the hold out, but it's practically a minor highlight and lucky doesn't flood the kit. A simple wash to tone it down goes far if it's still off putting. Overall awesome pros and five stars for the kit itself, but that brings me to the nit picking.
The cons, dry transfers, better than decals but I had a few problems with some for no apparent reason. Cleaned the surface, did everything I should have done but I gotta say if you want to do it up right opt for some water slides for better control. They put a few dry decals on complex surfaces (ridges) so it can be a slight hassle but luckily there aren't that many. The decals are surprisingly nice. Usually fitted to the part so making a one shot pass with confidence isn't exactly difficult and I appreciate that. It's also not over loaded with decals either. I've done a bit of both and I gotta say the manual recommends just enough in all the right places. The biggest concern comes from a building joint and the only real concern I have. The side of the hips above where the Orange skirt hangs has a notch for the weapon control arm. These feel anemic for there purpose. The outside skirt is fine but when posing pay extra special attention to that connection point. In only light handling I saw stress marks come up fast on a joint you may be handling frequently if you are combining the cannons up front so be mindful of that little bar holding them on. It wouldn't be the worst fix of all time if you broke it but just a little extra attention can avoid that hassle.
Bottom line is this is an A+ kit and a bargain. It's shorter than my NT1 Alex by a hair but appears far more menacing with it's complex segmented armor and lean more anthropomorphic overall design. Put in the time to panel line and maybe get some water slides but take your time and this is a kit that looks good from every angle. If seed kits are your thing or you like the heavy arms ew or similar kits this is something I highly recommend.
If I can I'll add some photos once I've finished panel lining and got a decent phone to take pictures of. It'll by a straight out of box build minus the panel lining so a good representation of what you'll get.
Btw, I didn't buy from here myself. My girlfriend got it from here and it arrived pretty quickly according to her and the box is flawless so it wasn't mistreated or anything getting here and the price is perfect.
Overall it was a very fun time, I recommend it!
