The Good: besides the slick look of the Strike, the articulation is fantastic. The Aile Striker pack looks very nice as well. Decals are included, some of which are dry transfers (which I am in love with now). Put all the decals on and the Strike is a treat to look at. Beam sabers, shield and beam rifle are included too. Plus a stand that looks like the Arch Angel launch bay!
The Bad: a few bits and pieces needed to be glued and the rear skirting armor needed tightening. The peg style shoulder joint kinda allows the arm to slide off a bit when posing, but I haven't had the arm fall off yet, which is good.
The Ugly: the Aile Striker is so heavy that it tends to yank the torso backward. But that's it.
Overall, a solid kit. And it looks amazing, especially with all the decals and some weathering.
I would like to add that my overall satisfaction with your e-shop, pricing, prompt service and attention to detail are Top Notch. I've already made a wish list and am planning my next purchase. Thank you to all and we'll be in touch.
Now, much like with any kit, there are some draw backs: the side skirts are not as mobile as I would like them to be. They are fairly static to support the armor schnider gimmick which is cool on its own, but when they pop off constantly when trying to get a dynamic kick off, it really hinders the experience.
More over, the ale striker itself is a fun hunk of plastic, but the connection joints from the wings to the base is some of the worst joint engineering i have seen on a kit. It is always loose and even if you go in and tighten the joints themselves, it will take way more effort than needs to be. You can circumvent this if you have purchased the Blue frame D mg, but that means sacrificing that striker pack for the original and that is not exactly a choice I like to make.
The final point I would like to make is that this kit and it's sister (the strike rouge rm) are kits that are highly customizable due to their straight forward design. Be it color or new parts, I can scarcely think of a better mobile suit to customize.
If you have never gotten this kit and are curious, I cannot recommend this kit highly enough. Generally priced reasonably and you get a lot of plastic for the asking price. Straight build or fully detailed, this kit is a perfect mg for anybody looking to improve their own skills.
I have no previeous experience as to what would be really good or really bad but the biuld itself was good. Some stuff seems so be extra as I cant find where to put them on the build itself and cant find them in any of the photos. Must parts fit really well it rare excepcions (like the little crown thing in the helmet, that I had to glue on) At this point I not yet placed any of the decals, but I gues we will see how that goes lol
