There are four metal screws, all in the arms, but they're not particularly bad. The hip joint isn't my favorite (feels a bit loose) and the wrists could be a little more solid too (has trouble holding weapons). My main gripe, though, is the beam rifle: It comes solid grey and requires painting to look like it is on the box, which is a shame.
Overall, pretty great, though. Definitely no regrets on choosing this for my first older MG kit.
