Commence with the intricate internal skeletal frame, progressing to the external armor, replicating the authentic process of building a Gundam. Six key advancements elevate this model kit: effortless assembly, unparalleled articulation, multi-layered structure, diverse materials for external detailing, and expressive color-changing LEDs.
Upon completion, marvel at the model’s unprecedented size insert molded joint structure, spanning over 10 mm (7″) articulate seamlessly right out of the box. Experience over 90 points of articulation, including functional pistons and sliding mechanisms, with an astounding 40 points dedicated solely to the chest structure, ensuring the most dynamic poses.
The intricate internal skeletal frame boasts layers of mechanical truss details, accentuated by a palette of silver, gray, and gold. Multiple parts seamlessly blend to form unique shapes. The external armor showcases a symphony of materials, including plastic with silver, chrome, and gold plating, as well as Aluminum parts for the head vulcans and backpack verniers. Metallic 3D stickers and photo-etch sticker parts further enhance the exquisite level of detail.
To bring the Gundam to life, LED beam sabers and a color-changing LED illuminate the head and chest, depicting various combat and maintenance scenarios. An innovative magnet system, a first for GunPla, ensures a secure hold of the massive shield on the arm. Additionally, numerous maintenance hatches across the RX-78-2 can be opened, revealing intricately detailed internal mechanisms.
Please note that LR41 batteries are required for LED lights but sold separately.

One thing that I really wish bandai would include in such expensive kits, is the waterslide decals in addition to the stickers.

The kit was as its name: Perfect. I love how detailed it is, especially the inner frame. I didn't want to cover it with the armor, so I only finished a half armor for one side. This is a MUST HAVE PG.
I hope Bandai will continue to release the kits like this in the future.
