    I've been building actionfigurenow for close to 20 years now and the level of quality on the HGUC series has climbed very high in that time. I had stopped doing 1/144th scales years ago because they weren't as nice as Master Grade kits I was doing at the time. However, the Gustav Karl 1/144th has changed me. The quality of the build and the plastic is way higher than the HGUC kits from the late 90s and early 00s. Pick this up if you are looking to get into actionfigurenow or just want to try a solid 1/144th scale.

    I only got this kit originally because my collection didn't have anything quite like it, but after building it the Gustav Karl has single-handedly awakened a love of Federation-style grunts in me. This thing is gorgeous and the build is super fun. There's a lot of impressive technology in it as well to help with the articulation. Some of the joints can be a little loose but I think the pros far outweigh the cons here.
