As always with Action bases, and especially with the clear parts, the smaller pieces are brittle and don't fit well. Either its too tight and Minot adjustments crack the female sections or two loose and they sag immediately.
Honestly, I would still with the regular or extra funnels and look for a different separate base.
All in all, the kit is 5 huge stars but overall only 4 because of the action base's quality.
I will say this though, there are a lot of pieces to put together and depending on the amount of details that you want to accentuate on this kit, it could take you a while to put it together and display it. That said, I think this kit is perfect for the high-level beginner all the way to expert builder who is looking to build something awesome.
