M92 Metal Horizontal Hit and Miss Water-cooled Gasoline Engine Internal Combustion Engine Model

Engine Starting Steps:

  1. Verify electrical connections, fuel line, and insert 3 AA batteries (4.5V).
  2. Fill the engine tank with water and the fuel tank with 95 gasoline. Rotate the flywheel clockwise twice to prime the fuel system.
  3. Power on the engine and quickly rotate the flywheel clockwise to start.

Note:

  1. Troubleshooting: Adjust carburetor fuel needle or air-fuel mixture if the engine fails to start.
  2. Power off the engine when not in use and allow it to cool down.

    The quality and machining is there. Just can’t seem to get it started. It ran for about 20-30 secs and then stopped. Much of a chore to get going. Maybe they can help with a new replacement engine. Not sure I trust a second purchase. I just want it to start easier to enjoy it.

    I am very pleased with this one. My first venture into the miniature engine realm and wanted one with a fairly complex mechanism. This did not disappoint. Fast, well packed shipping from actionfigurenow. Used a Zippo/Marvel Mystery oil blend and after a few rope start pulls I had it running nicely. After that initial start I was able to start simply by flipping the flywheel with my fingers. Runs quite well with no further tuning needed. Glad I tried one of these and look forward to adding more to my collection
