Developed using the AMS-119 Geara Doga as a base, the main mobile suit of the anti-federation terrorist group Mufti featured in Hathaway’s Flash, the Me-02R Messer, joins the HGUC model kit series in style!

Despite its bulbous structure, the Messer boasts a range of articulation points that enable dynamic action poses.

  • Includes parts for constructing beam rifle, shield, and two beam sabers.
  • Detailed instructions included, but translation into English may not be provided.
  • Assembly doesn’t require glue, but a hobby nipper is necessary for removing parts from runners.
  • Action Base Not Included.

    A thoroughly modern HGUC kit, and an equally enjoyable experience. The 'trick' torso is super cool, and despite its relative chunkiness, the kit is surprisingly poseable. My only complaint is that the rifle is a little lacklustre, but that's a design issue, not a kit issue. Overall, I'd highly, highly recommend it. It's a big boy, you get a lot of plastic for your money. Great shelf presence, and from what I've seen on reddit, it's eminently customisable. Panel lines are simple and there's nothing too difficult to get to. If you have a thing for monoeyes, but you're sick of Zakus, the Messer is a must-buy.

    As an equally bulky kit, I was looking forward to the HGUC Gustav Karl, but found the use of standard polycaps let it down, mostly in the hip joints, that constantly seem to slip.

    The Messer does not repeat this mistake. The new build avoids polycaps, and by comparison, has much stronger joints for it. The Messer can stand straight up, despite increased weight compared to the Gustav Karl. This thing feels solid, not mostly hollow because of the build, which gives it quite impressive articulation, and admirable color separation. Oh, and did I mention that it's absolutely huge for a 1/144 scale kit?

    If you like the suit, or the way it looks, rest assured that the kit holds up and you can buy it without any concern.

    This kit is amazing. had everything I wanted and needed in a chunker good color separation strong legs and joints. I was looking for a kit to do my first weathering job and this was the one because it had no stickers. And the kit needed to be weathered. I hope my first attempt was a good one. This kit was a blast. You need this kit!!!!!

    This bulky behemoth is such a good 1/144 HG. The torso gimmick plays off really well but definitely seems to weaken with overuse so may want to strengthen it if you find it weakening. It has a good handful of details but leaves enough open space for lovely customization. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

    The rear skirt is fiddly at best. The arm design to hold the rear skirts in place are done in a way that makes it unnecessarily articulated and a bit difficult to mount. I ended up gluing the multi-part mounting arm together and that solved the issue. Apart from that, the suit looks great with good color separation (for those that don't paint) and gates that are fairly easy to deal with.

    This big mono eye MS is so far the cheapest and fastest build out of the other 2 Hathaway Flash kits. The color correcting stickers could've been better, but they're not a big deal. Feels pretty solid that this kit has no polycaps. This HG kit is highly recommended
