It was a simple snap build for a real grade, aside from the pipings. The fiber tubes included with the model kit for certain parts are difficult to install and tend to fray if not careful. Otherwise it's a stable model for an early real grade and a great entry point for building actionfigurenow.

This is one of my favorite MS designs; the build was unique and made me appreciate the MkII's design. It has a cool silhouette & poseability is great on this kit and might need a little bit of TLC after some time seeing that this is one of the earlier RG's.

I enjoyed the build but it took right around 7 hours to fully complete and the part wiggle and fall off quite easily, the torso doesn't stay connected too well but for a set in a single pose and leave alone kit it's pretty fun and gratifying!

This was the second kit I ordered as I love the Gundam MK-II's design, and I feel it translates very well into a RG detailed model. The build was tricky for a beginner like me, but with enough focus I was able to finish it. There are a lot of small parts that have issues staying connected with the kit at times, but using superglue to tighten up and secure certain parts will help a lot, especially the torso which required me to glue it to keep it on the kit at all. Though thankfully do to the way the torso is designed, you can super glue the bottom part into the torso and still retain upper body articulation. The articulation itself is great, and comes with alternative hands to help with more expressive poses.

One other interesting bit is that the kit also incorporates the use of these very thing wire like pieces for detailing certain parts to replicate wires, though this is optional and the kit itself looks good without them. The wires also gave me issues, so I decided to leave them out of the build since I dont think they look as good as they could. The color separation is absolutely fantastic, and the only real stickers needed are for the eyes. The kit comes with an absolutely massive amount of decals, as most real grades do. There are a lot of small stickers, so using tweezers is definitely recommended.

The kit comes with a good amount of accessories. It comes with the standard loadout of sword, shield and beam rifle. It also comes with the Hyper Bazooka and the Vulcan Pods. However the Beam Sabers are extremely hard to put into the hands that come with the kit. It might be just an issue with mine, but the included hands do not hold the Beam Sabers securely. While it is possible to get them to stay in the hands, its just not secure enough to be handled well. You can use the trigger finger hand to hold a beam saber reliable, but up close it will look odd.

If you can overcome the shortcomings the RG Gundam MK II looks very good. Just be prepared with some super glue and you will need to put in some extra effort to fix the issues. I still enjoyed building it and it looks great, though the issues it has can be a bit much to handle.

This is hands down the one of the best Real Grades out there that does not suffer from the degrading real grade MS joint frame
