RG 1/144 24 Gundam Astray Gold Frame Amatsu Mina

From the widely acclaimed spin-off series “Gundam SEED Astray,” the RG series debuts the Goldframe Amatsu Mina, protector of the “Declaration of the Sky!”.

Amatus Mina’s stealth functions were carefully studied and implemented, hence the textured differences on the external parts of the mobile suit have been realistically recreated through colored plastic and varied materials. Only in the RG series, the arms can move fluidly with the extension and retraction ability.

The Maga no Ikutachi, a rear-mounted weapon, includes deployment, extension and retraction gimmicks. Actuation and other technical mechanisms used on the actual mobile suit inspired the creation of intricate functionalities. With the highest level of accuracy and precision, Amatsu Mina’s comprehensive weaponry is being replicated. For the first time on a 1/144-scale model, Okitsu no Kagami, its signature spear-like weapon that combines offense and defense, features a reinforced and transparent parts construction.

    This kit is amazing, and when I say amazing I mean amazing. It has a pre-built inner frame that you add on too to build the gundam. I wasn't expecting this honestly, and it was my first time seeing something like this. I would love to see this on more kits because this kit is sooooo good. Its a decently long build as well close to 3 hours or so. Well worth the money

    I got this to go along with red frame and other frames. I prefer 1/144 so RG is something of a blessing and curse (due to the small pieces lol)

    The claws on this thing are legit. Even had a wolverine claw. Plus some cool swords. Half the parts aren't even the body. 5 stars.

    I have been working on completing my RG kit run and was lucky enough to get this one. This kit does not suffer from ERGS (early rel grade syndrome) because the frame is quite rigid. This kit also requires little detailing and panel lining because the black parts being glossy. This kit is back-heavy so an action base is suggested for dynamic poses. The "gold" frame in the wings is week so be careful and follow the directions or you will get stress marks.

    A very difficult model to put together but it was really enjoyable. Lots of extra parts. Was able to put together a second arm out of the parts, but I didn't have shoulders for it and it looked out of place. This kit brought a whole new type of challenge to me. It also brought a great contrast to my collection.

    Love the design. The high gloss black pieces, of which there are many, look terrible after removing from the runners. Using godhands, a brand new sharp razor, nice files and buffers I couldn't get a clean look. Such a cool gundam though. If you plan on painting this one shouldn't be an issue though.

    Nice boxing and shipping easy to track and was on time. The build itself like any real grade is tedious but worth the effort once put all together. The frame is so cool in it being essentially two different gundam frames put together. I was able to stand it in some poses without a stand but there were some poses that posed a bit of issue due to a heavy back.
