I was totally inspired when the students decided how to break down the assembly instructions and assign groups with a different task of assembly for each group. The students arranged this when the kit was received but didn't actually start to build the engine until the next day when the groups had been assigned and agreed apon.
I have students that I could not more proud of. The students understand how to work together; "how do we make the valves and camshaft work with the pistons and crank shaft."
