Description
Hot Air Stirling Engine with Solid Metal Construction
This stirring engine model uses heat by alcohol lamp to generate electricity, which then lights the LED light to emit different colors. It provides an excellent opportunity to investigate how a Stirling engine works, inspiring curiosity and creativity.
How it Works:
The Stirling engine is an external combustion engine that uses a fixed quantity of permanently gaseous fluid (air or helium) as the working fluid. It operates through the cycle of compressing, heating, expanding, and cooling the gas, creating electricity.
Operation:
To operate the engine:
– Fill the alcohol lamp with 95% high-grade alcohol (minimum 95%).
– Heat the glass cylinder.
– After a few seconds of warming up, spin the flywheel for rapid and smooth rotation.
Features:
- Unique balance type modeling
- All-metal construction
- High hardness precision bearing steel cylinder and piston
- Carving milling molding and anodize oxidation frosting treatment
