    This is my first time building a Gundam, and I am impressed with the thoughts that Bandai has put into making these models. The inner frame articulations are great and make it very fun to pose the model. The molding techniques used on the inner frame are new to me. Just enough parts and details for an enthusiast. I am not too happy with the stickers that came with the model. They are too thick. I think water slide upgrade is a must if you are even semi serious about model making. Overall it's fun, and I am starting my next build soon. There are tons of resources online, and I get to learn new skills that I won't use on building model cars, which is where I came from.

    I think I love this one more than the Strike Freedom. Great articulation with a really solid feel to it...

    This model looks super cool. But being an RG it is super fragile and a nightmare to pose. You pretty much need and action base for this gundam.

    1/144 is an okay one but it's pretty loose. Trying to make many positions but having difficulties. I only have 3 positions that i took.

    The build on this isn't all that bad. The only weird part is the blue pieces that go over the joint connecting the wings on the backpack don't snap together flush. There's a small gap between them on both sides. Seems intentional, but not 100% sure. Out of the box the shoulder joints are/were loose, so they need to be dealt with if you want it holding anything upright. The kit CAN stand on it's own if you spread the wings wide out to it's sides. Otherwise it's a good looking kit, but it's also an early RG, so give it some TLC if you plan on posing it around a bunch, or set it, and forget it.
